Attn: All New England members,

The meeting scheduled for Sunday, June 24th has been postponed. This decision was made on behalf of myself and NANFA member Brian Bastarache. Apparently there is a storm system heading for [most of] New England this weekend, with heavy rains predicted for the weekend. This storm may contain dangerous lightning. Even though it seems that Sunday afternoon may be nice...we didn't want to take any chances. We were thinking of members who may be traveling from the north and south of MA.

This weekend looks better, and we will be holding a meeting in Dighton MA at the Bristol County Natural History Center. The meeting will start at 12 noon sharp, the meeting should run about 1 hour. We need to have this meeting to discuss what members have been up to since the last MA area meeting (the last two meetings were in CT). We would also like to go over some other regional issues that would benefit all members.

A field trip will follow the meeting. We will decide on where people want to go during the meeting. Refreshments will be available, as well as a door prize or two. If any one has any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. Meeting notices are in the mail, you should receive them shortly.
