To be honest I bought the dark buckets one day when I was in a hurry and the
bait store didn't have any other color. Until then I had mostly used white
buckets but my all time fave is a styrofoam bucket I have from many years ago. it
was the best-in-keeping fish cool or warm for long periods but I lost the lid
at some point and I haven't seen another bucket quite like it. It is the size
of a five gallon bucket but has foam about 2" or so thick.
