I'm not trying to excuse the taking of 340 illegal turtles, just the way the
article was slanted to make it look like those men made a huge profit from
taking the illegal turtles and that the entire net work was in place to take
illegal turtles. The article should have told the story of the 340 illegal
turtles. the legal ones were irrelevant to the story. It would be like someone
finding you with a joint and trying to make you look like a major trafficker in
marijuana. Personally the 340 illegal turtles were enough of a crime for me
without all the stuff about the legal turtles. the figure about the numbers of and
money made from the legal turtles was put there to mislead the public. No other
reason for it.
