I didn't mean I would go about the things the same way. I was just
mentioning him because before I starting getting into the native fish I was
always interested in the tropical hobby. I always saw the information that
was printed with his name attached to the research. Not until later in life
did I realize some of the things he had done. I don't want to be a copy of
him, I just want to do some of the things he did just in a different way. I
also don't know the names of any of the people who study and research native
fish, thats why I am getting involved with NANFA again. When I was in it
before I was just joe smoe off the street member. Now I am wanting to become
more involved than I was before.

There should be some explaination... although I laughed out loud Lee :)

Dr. Axelrod hasn't always done the most professionally ethical thing, or
financially ethical thing... He's been kinda, um, unethical.

I think what you had meant to say was, that you would like to be is more
along a "David Starr Jordan" or "Lawrence Page" or "Carl Hubbs" "is to
Native Fishes" as "I could be to the aquarium hobby". :)
