I had a hard time getting my crappie to eat cut fish. They'd take it every once in a while, but only sporadically.

Try chunks of fish. Around here-in-my local Super Wal-Mart I can get a big
bag of frozen "mixed seafood". Its squid, shrimp, octopus, clams and fish
chunks. A big bag only costs about $5 I think its about 2 pounds. I feed it
to a lot of my fish, my big 10" rockbass will only eat that and feeders.
Worth a shot, if they won't eat it, it also makes a nice sir fry.
