NANFA-L-- February in Mississippi

Here I am, and it's a beautiful day outside. After a previous day of solid
rain, I decide to see how the fishes in Martin's creek are doing. The redfin
darters are gravid and in full spawning colors. Collecting season has
officially begun in Mississippi! If I didn't have to take the wife out this
evening on my one day off, I would be on the road right now, visiting some of my
favorite sites. What a waste of a perfectly good day :-)

"And you see, a lot of people forget where this thing called rock and roll came
from. And by the way, it wasn't from California. It wasn't from New York, or
Wisconsin. It was from this part of the world called Mississippi and Louisiana
and Tennessee, and a little bit of Missouri. That's where it all came from." -
