We do have rather hard water in East TN. As I was
saying, it seemed to be thriving for quite a while. I
had been measuring my salt in the "size of the mound
method"-in-every water change. It wasn't much salt,
around a teaspoon/10 gal. They are in with regular
freshwater fish so I haven't been adding too much.
Unfortunately I can't speak of the water changes and
salt the the fish are getting now. I left them with
someone who has been keeping fish longer than I have.
I'll try to get a better look today.
