Yours truly (pinch hitting for J.R. Shute) will be speaking on breeding
madtoms at the Potomac Valley Aquarium Society's All-Catfish Weekend in
Laurel, MD, Oct. 15-17. See:

http://www.pvas.com/catfish/welcome.htm

Bob Bock will be leading a catfish collecting trip to Maryland's Eastern
Shore.

If you live anywhere near Baltimore or D.C., this event will be well worth
checking out.

Meanwhile, if you live near Sacramento, don't miss Mark Binkley's talk on
native fishes at the Sacramento Aquarium Society's annual FinDig, that very
same weekend.
