Live brine's not bad, but it helps to vary the diet. I usually feed the brine
shrimp a HUFA suppliment. A pretty good one in the aquarium trade is Selcon.
Most darters love blackworms, daphnia, mosquito larvae, glassworms....just
about any live foods. Most can easily be trained to eat frozen bloodworms. As
I said before, the more variation, the better.
