Adult frozen brine shrimp is what I use.The fry at 3/8 inch long can even eat it. untill their that size I feed live newly hatched brine shrimp. I still keep my tank rasied darters cold for the winter. They do color up but never to the level of wild caught fish. I've never kept Orangethroats befor.
