I did a little bit of dip netting today at the spillway of Greenfield Lake.
Not much to choose from. I was hoping to get some striped ghost shrimp or hog
chokers but instead I dipped up some tiny poppeyed mullet. All were about one
inch long and we caught more than 4 dozen. my son also caught some tiny fish,
evidently fry of some sort. They were very small and looked like pin heads.
We brought several of the pin heads home and released them into a grow out
pond so maybe we'll get to see what they are.
