When I lived in Bloomington, Indiana (home of Indiana University, the great
movie "Breaking Away"), a local fisherman said that most fish in a stone
quarry are hard to catch. One of his tricks was to bounce a lure shaped like
a mouse down the side of the quarry and then have it splash in to the water.
He claimed he had good luck catching bass that way.
