The green sunfish will eat the dace sooner or later so
I would think about separating the two. Green sunfish
have especially large mouths and should eat just about
anything. I feed my dace all kinds of flake food as
well as daphnia and blackworms. I don't have a green
sunfish, but my longears and orangespotted eat
anything I put in the tank, including minnows small
enough to swallow.
