Be sure you know what the law is on collecting time, and I'm not sure what
the rules are if someone sends them to you. Pretty much every state
requires a permit, even for possession. Which stinks, cause I walk down the
Maumee River and see 5,000,000 Wabash Pigtoes and White Heelsplitters and I
haven't taken the steps so I can put them in my tank, which would be a very
desireable addition.
Straight from the OhioDNR.com website for example: "CLAMS, MUSSELS, OR
MUSSEL SHELLS may not be taken, possessed, or collected for any pupose."
Okay... I'll quit playing Dad now. I hope it works out for you Sajjad. It
would definately look sweet :)
