Looks sort of like a yellowfin shiner in breeding colors (N. lutipinnis),
but I'm not sure where this location is in GA. We have found them along the
SC/GA border so they may have moved further in.

OK, guys... here's a couple of things I've been wanting to do all wrapped up
in one...

I have published my first web page... hey it's no Farmer Todd, but I wanted
to
use it to do the second thing...

What is the proper name for the fish in the first three pictures? I know
what I think, but I'm not the pro... and the pros (in the form of the books
that I have read, seem to disagree with my evaluation. So how about some of
you take a look at tell us all what you think... and why.

By the way, all of the pics were taken with my Fuji FinePix A303... left on
automatic... pics were cut and cropped to make 'em smaller for the web
page...
And all the finned stars are housed in my 75 gallon tank... except for the
few
guppies that crowed the lens (yea, I know, they are all out now, but came
with
the tank... long story).
