Read closely! Although the picture is a fake, the story is not. A giant
blue catfish was really caught, in lake Texamo, by the two people in the
story. The fishes' size has been somewhat exagerated, it apparently weighed
121 lbs 8 oz -- not the wopping 140 pounds being reported with that photo.
It may have been a world record for blue cats. The photo of the two men
holding up the catfish is a picture of two italian fishermen holding up a
large Wels catfish from there. That particular catfish weighed 187 pounds.
It was released.
