I was there and I, too, have forgotten the story. No one taped the talks
and no one took the responsibility for summarizing them (or even taking
notes). Sure glad that's not happening any more!

I do remember that some of us wanted him to do that, and asked him to do so.
He said he'd think about it, but he seemed hesitant because some of the
significant (from a historical standpoint, that is) personalities of certain
time periods are no longer active and may not want to be mentioned,
especially one who left in disgrace. I think John may think it's best not
to revisit certain parts of NANFA's past. So if any of you talk to John and
don't get the results you hope for, don't take it personally. John Bondhus
is a terrific person.
