For the irony of it all.

The cover of the fall edition of Plant Delights Nursery catolog is a
great satire of the laws that restrict trade in rare species but would
rather see them extinct than introduced into horticulture. Reptile and
fish hobbyists as well as aviculturalists (bird breeders) experience a
similar bane.

That guy hugging the tree looks familiar. I know I've seen him
somewhere!

Also there is a good article "Cutting Through the Jungle" about the
contraversies of horticulture vs ecology.
