NANFA-- bank erosion etc.

Casper,
I was just rereading (?) your message about the guy rearanginging the
stream bank with his back-hoe.Doesn't Tenn. have any laws concerning
erosion? When I built my house here in Michigan we had to erect erosion
barriers all around on the lake side of the house even though it is about
150 feet from the lake and no chance of anything getting into the lake.The
contractor had to get a erosion control permit when he got the building
permit.
