I haven't tried a hat, but the stuff works great on cotton shirts. The
shirt should have at least 50% cotton content (don't know why). We put the
logo for my non-profit on tee shirts. I have one that I have worn regularly
for three years. You are better off putting small pictures on the shirts or
adding things like words a few on a transfer each time. The larger the
transfer, the harder the application. You apply them with an iron. The
larger transfers are hard to get an even application. The tee shirt stores
have special presses that allow larger transfers.
