Geoff and julie.. When I operated an aquarium store, I used to supply this
on a regular basis. As for the indications, well, that is another story.
What I wanted to answer was your question whether this is used still. Well,
if you have ever viewed the video tape series "FISH HEALTH MANAGEMENT" (
this series was an item at the last two NANFA auctions) Potassium
Permanganate is recommended frequently. This series is only about 5 years
old. I have used it and it has seemed to work for a number of
illnesses!.. on my fish, of course! HA!
