Its already bad enough in the winter.

This sensationlism is already brainwashing people ( if not just really
confusing them). Watch local media, or national for that matter, and talk to
people. When it is hot, even average hot you here things like " when will it
end, this is terrible, must be global warming". yet the same sources and
people will say in the middle of winter when its warmer than average " won't
last long", " this is not good for the environment" etc, but it could be 20
degrees below average for a week in the winter and the media says little,
but all those same people you talk to will say" wow, still nothing like
those good old fashioned winters" , 'eh, what are you going do?" and "maybe
it will kill the bugs". What rubbish. Our coldest day this year came very
late, ( after a nice winter that everyone around here complained about)
with a low in the beginning of March in the negative twenties ( remember
that ? I was coming home from AL and stayed over in ST Louis, it was -16
there and the hotels had the heat turned off brrrrr) and if you have
listened to the news, the mosquitos are still here ( West Nile reporting).
Hmmm, if -25 degrees don't kill the bugs off, then nothing will.
