I happened to stumble upon an interesting item at 1:30 AM on the cable TV -
What appeared to be a rather typical and mundane meeting of government folks
in a sparsely decorated meeting room caught my attention when the screen
display turned to photos of an obscure but really fine looking native fish
known as the Olympic Mudminnow.

It turned out to be a very interesting discussion of the fish and its
plight. A little more research on my part has turned up this account of the
proceedings. In short, it's being recommended for "sensitive" status.

Check it out if your interested. I'm just passing this along in the hopes
that maybe a little extra publicity could help the cause. Sadly, there are
no pictures of the fish featured. It looks like their accepting comment for
some time still so perhaps some NANFA support could be of benefit.

I hope everyone is having a good time at the meeting as well!!

Richard
