NANFA-- Fish Diseases

I've got a strange condition on one of my tropicals, but you guys have
always been great for advice and I'm assuming tropicals and natives share
many of the same ailments. The fish in question has a clouded eye (only
one) with a definate white spot over a portion of the clouded section.
The eye seems a little inflamed/extended also. I have heard of several
possibilities, one called "pop-eye", but I'm looking for a more scientific
approach and interested in treatment options. Please mail responses to
jnjpepper_at_hotmail.com as I will not have access to my normal email during
the weekend. Thanks in advance,
-Joe
