I keep my 8 Elassoma evergladei in a small 4 gallon tub. It is filled to the
brim with Java Moss and this other stuff like Java Moss but a lighter green
and an almost fishing line like leaves or strands (whatever you call the
part of a Java Moss). The tub is uncovered and is easy to see the fish most
of the time by leaning over top of it and looking in. I feed them finely
crushed Cichlid flake and Brine Shrimp. The pH is about 6.3.
