RE: NANFA-- Noturus phaeus

Pete -

Neil Douglas collected a series of unusually large phaeus in Louisiana. He
reported on these at one of the ASIH meetings. He has photographs and, of
course, the preserved specimens.

Over the years, many of his students did faunal surveys in the lower
Mississippi Basin, so its possible that he can also give you some good
information on hot spots of abundance, habitat, etc..
