You beat me to it BG :)

Yes, we have _quite_ a list this year, and it's quite exciting to see this
interest in running the organization. What would be even more exciting is
if the body of the organization showed it's interest in who is running the
organization by having an overwhelming response to the mailing :) So get
those puppies in!

This would also be a good time to point out the BOD email list for those
interested... We're currently trying to hash out a revision of the
Regional/State Representative program. We're looking into setting up a new
category of "o-fish-al" rep of NANFA from the membership. A sort of
"contact" that can include any type of person, with any amount of knowledge.

The basic qualifications are... You 1) like native fish and 2) you're
excited about NANFA's opportunities to spread the word about the captive
husbandry and wild conservation of the North American Continent's piscean
critters (not much different than the rep, but we feel will extend the
possibilities of fostering more "local" activities)

And don't be intimidated because you haven't had a lot of experience with
this category of fish or aquaria or anything! Everyone started someplace
and we're talking about organizational type stuff to grow our club. I
remember being intimidated back when I started in NANFA, but shortly, I went
over to Board Member Mark Binkley's house (Whoa! Impressive! :) and found
out first hand that Board Members are folks just like everyone else. So, as
much input as we can get about this program and other topics, we'll take!
:)

List traffic is light as a general rule, unless some heavy discussion is
going on (maybe 3 times a year). And it stays interesting for the most
part, and always stays on track ;)
