Here is a link that shows a picture of a baby musky, know that is not what
is discussed here, but does show the radical change in coloration and
pattern between juvnile Esox and adult Esox. I was trying to find some good
pics of small northerns but didn't come up with any yet. Ran out of time,
have to head to work.

I could not make out the scales at all in the picture.
