I also believe "wisconsin" was attached to this story becuase it was caught by a Wisconson DNR biologist during a electrofishing survey, misidentified and released. Upon meeting with a higher up and reviewing a photograp it was determined it was a snakehead. Why didnt they just do a turn in plan? like a toy guns for toys plan? turn it in nothing gets happened and you get reimbursed or something...I knew of an aquarium shop in greater cleveland that had 3 LARGE specimens in display tanks and they were just holding them around until they were told to destroy them.
