Hey, Lee...

My late mother-in-law, who passed away at age 102 on this day,
26 December, in the year 2000, spent her final years at a retirement
home on route 352 outside Media (I think it was 352 - the place is
called Lima Estates). My wife and I visited her fairly often, flying to
Philly from California.

On most visits I spent a bit of time on Ridley Creek, usually bringing
a few darters home with me on the return flight. Tessellated darters,
I think they were...but I'm not positive about that.

If my memory serves me well, I think Gradyville Road runs
perpendicular to 352. If so, my regular collecting spot was near
and under the bridge crossing Ridley Creek.

Small world, as they say.

I am one member of a team that does stream monitoring for Chester,
Ridley and Crum Creeks in Delaware and Chester Counties. My specific
assignment is where Ridley Creek is crossed by Gradyville Road.
