For readers of Rob Buffler and Tom Dickson's "Fishing for buffalo"

"Fishing downstream: angling opportunities in the lower White River" by
Keith Sutton (Fall issue of Arkansas Wildlife) is an interesting article.
There are separately subtitled 2-3 paragraph sections devoted to 8 different
taxa: black basses, panfishes, catfishes, white bass and stripers, AND
paddlefish, gars, drum, and bowfin. Traditional game species and "rough"
fishes received equal coverage!
