When we had our salt water tank going, I took photos in the wild of the fish we
had in the tank. We kept notes as we observed the tank -- who ate whom, what food
they prefered, when they molted, that it takes 16 hours for an anemone to digest
and spit out a scallop shell, that Mosshead Warbonnets bite the tentacles of
anemones at night and that is why they stay closed up... I took a blank book and
stuck the picture in it, some basic stuff (name, range, collection spot) and left
a big spot for observations. Great fun, and fun to share with other people who
dare to take even a half-hearted interest! Out comes the book! (and it travels
well in the car, too). Highly recommend doing this! katrina
