Gar, like bowfin, is good prepared as hamberger would be. Take your gar or
bowfin meat, roll it up with some onions, peppers, eggs , crackers ( or
substitute) and seasoning. Drop this in small patties into hot grease and
wait for them to float, mmm mmm! You can also roll this into a flour
batter too coat them, man, I'm hungry, headin' to the kitchen
