I would like to mention that if anyone wants to get down on someone for
keeping over sized fish, bring it on. I have an alligator gar that is 30
inches long, and now am housing my friends gator while he is moving. I can
hope they do not reach 5 or more feet, but until that time, they have
adequate room, and ample live fish for food. I would be willing to bet
that several people dont realize the growth that there pets could attain,
and are keeping them in undersized tanks. This is fine as long as they get
enought to eat, and have clean water . Thats a little general, but you can
get what I mean. As in any discussion on this list we shouldnt start these
personal attacks, but offer suitable Ideas. Isnt that what the NANFA list
is really supposed to be about?

I'm gonna go take a bath in my "winter home" indoor gar pond with the
gators and cool off ( there is still room in it for me too with 4 gars
using it) =).
