Thanks for your information. I was under the false idea that water needs
to be moving over the bacteria, but now I understand that no current at all
is needed. I'm planning a heavily planted 20g long tank with topminnows,
bluespotted/banded sunfish, a sleeper goby, and maybe a mudminnow or two. I
will take care to gradually increase the bioload. Thanks again for everyones
