I have a copy of "Higher Aquarium Animals" by Boardman which was published in
1944 while he was overseas in the service. It was published by Cranbrook
Institute of Science in Bloomfield Hills Mich. I volunteered in their nature
center over 25 years ago and managed to grab my copy it was out of print
then. Lower Aquarium Animals was published before this book. Higher is
about a quarter inch thick hardcover wit very good information for the time
it was published. It covers a few fish, amphibians and reptiles of the
Michigan area. Its information is still good when I collect a fish I haven't
kept before I still check in it.
