My Bluegills (and Yellow Perch) love worms of ANY kind. I have feed them,
Red worms (wigglers), Leaf worms and Nightcrawlers, plus whatever I find on
the sidewalk after a rain. They quickly gobble up any worm tossed in.

Are "red worms" the same as trout worms? Smaller & redder than
nightcrawlers? Possibly with red rings?

My fish spit them out too-whole & when I cut them up. I noticed they
smelled
different than the nightcrawlers all my fish LOVE! (Whole & diced!)

I've got blue gills (or are they green sunfish?), & largemouth.

My $.02.
