The females carry the eggs to the point where they hatch out and then
disperse the young into the water column. The baby shrimp go through several
molts, they are voracious eaters and consume large quantities of green
water. Upon reaching 1/2cm they settle to the bottom and become minatures of
the adults. Losses are huge to say the least and I have tried to breed them
in a shallow kiddy pool. This may be the best way as you will get copious
amounts of green water to feed the babies.
