I was thinking of trying this. Doing this in reverse ( males stimulating
females to ripen with eggs , atleast that appeared to happen) has worked for
me in the past. I will probably give that a try, given it has been a while
since I spawned any sunfish and I am getting the bug. Its a good cure for
the winter doldrums to have fish spawning.
