Thanks all for the information on using rubbermaid stock tanks. I think
I'll stay away from the metal ones. I visit the feed stores around here
regularly for layer crumbles and scratch. I like to rotate where I go in
case one of them gets any interesting poultry. I keep chickens and
ducks, looking for Guinea hens and button qual. Anyway I asked last time
I was in and the really big rubbermaid tanks are $185, I think that was
the 300 gallon size. I might try a smaller one at first. I did want to
see how they would work before I invested that much. It's a shame the
rubbermaid ones don't come in the long oval shape that some of the metal
ones come in. They'd fit better in my space.
