NANFA-- Mystery fish pics need ID

If you go to the URL below, you'll find three pictures of a large, unknown
fish caught in Vermont (if I remember correctly). People in the American
Fisheries Society are trying to ID this fish, caught on a trolling spoon at
32 feet. I suspect it's not a native fish; an Amazonian exotic at home in
cold waters? Anyway, the whole story is below.
