I am a graduate student at the University of Nebraska - and a member of
NANFA for a little more than a year. I am conducting a genetic paternity
analysis to reveal alternative male reproductive strategies in fathead
minnows (those "sneaky" little guys). I have recently designed primers for
this species and would like to test them on the other three members of the
genus. Unfortunately, I do not have a lot of time to collect right now, but
would like to run the tests as soon as possible. As such, I am wondering if
anyone has access to, and would be willing to part with, 3-5 individuals of
any of the following species. Aquarium casualties are welcome if they are
in reasonable condition.

*Bluntnose Minnow (Pimephales notatus)
*Bullhead Minnow (Pimephales vigilax)
*Slim minnow (Pimephales tenellus - either subspecies)

Thanks.
