NANFA-- weirdest fishing in the world

Maybe that was a bait and switch subject , but....

Today I went fishing at the marsh for yellow perch. They were not biting so
hot, and then I caught the strangest thing. I have never caught on hook and
line even though I have tried in the past, a mudminnow. So, I was picking
on my pal the whole time how the little nibbles he was getting between perch
were more mudminnows, and sure enough, he pulled one in too. This was so
wild. They fought better than a similar sized perch, but when you grabbed
them they were so slippery unlike a perch. I didn't even know I had mine
until when I went to grab her and unhook her she slid right out of my hand.
They were around four inches long. Too small to eat, I was looking forward
to some mudminnow fillet!
