Nick, you must be thinking of pressure treated plywood. Regular marine
plywood isn't treated with the copper cyanide stuff. Marine plywood has no
voids and is "a" grade on both sides. It is made with very strong completely
water proof glue. you can make and aquarium out of marine plywood without any
paint at all but the seems will not be as strong as a painted glued tank and
it will not last as long.
