Hi Moon,

Don't know about the tiny inverts...but on our cranberry bogs,
our pumps move fish, frogs, turtles, water snakes, etc....all unharmed!
Once in a great while a frog will pass through and get kinda turned
inside out (most likely due to the centrifugal action of the pump). I
have successfully "pushed" the inards back in and watched them swim away
normally.
