Suffering from a serious bout of cabin fever I've been collecting native fish books instead. After the bids got too high for my tastes on Fishes of Alabama I searched to see if it could be had somewhere else. I discovered a link from an old (2000) NFC or NANFA email list.

http://www.dcnr.state.al.us/agfd/fishsec.html

I called and discovered it was still available for $25 plus $4 shipping. So I got a new one and it is great.

Also picked up Fishes of Arkansas like new for $11.20, what a steal!

The Fishes of Ohio same condition for $20, fantastic book.

Inland Fishes of Mississippi $24.85, not bad either.

Well, they helped for a while but now I'm looking for spring even more plus I have all these long trips tempting me. Might be time to stomp on some ice, it may be the only cure.
