Re: NANFA-- plant growing basics

On the most basic level, my understanding is that most plants do not do
well over an undergravel filter (UGF). Can anyone confirm or deny this?
I'm not talking about plants like java fern, java moss and water sprite
that take their nutrients from the water column. They seem to do fine with
a UGF.
