I live in eastern NC and over the last 10 of the last 40 years I have been
keeping fish I have seen nothing but a decline in quality. I guess in some
cases the big chains might be a positive but once the locally owned stores
die the big chains back off on their fish quality and selection. I have been
told they have no choice as to where they buy their fish but have to buy from
the wholesaler the whole company uses.
