If they are black they would make excellent thermal mass for my
greenhouse. Just leave them uncut and stack them against the back wall
to form a wall of water that will absorb solar energy by day and
re-radiate it by night!

Cut the tops out of some and they would make good fish tanks - or
planters!
Maybe a cheep way to get into the fish business too!

Now if I could just find them locally. They'd be a hundred times better
than round plastic drums!
