That was back when I was young and naive and believed everyone was on the
same page with wanting to understand and protect our planet and its life.
I've been reading articles since yesterday from Conservation Biology on that
Blackwell page Rob told us about, and it's clear that spirit is still alive.
Still, what a constant disappointment it is to see the greed and fears and
self-importance of our fellow humans. Anyway, I don't remember about the
girl, but I probably didn't know what to do if I did!
